Description:
Tracking a conveyor belt correctly seems to plague every aggregate operation. In most mines a worker will make repeated and ineffective adjustments to the tail pulley trying to correct the problem. Adjustments can be made, but not until the core reason why the belt is mistracking is discovered- and many things affect the belt’s ability to track correctly. This presentation will discuss each reason why a belt runs off center and how to mitigate that reason. After this presentation each attendee will most certainly look at belt tracking resolutions differently and will have more effective ways of remedying one of their biggest headaches with conveyors.
